This website describes materials that have been prepared by Professor Stanley Manahan of the University of Missouri pertaining to courses in sustainability, that is, green science and technology. The approach used emphasizes the five environmental spheres: (1) Hydrosphere, (2) atmosphere, (3) geosphere, (4) biosphere, and (5) anthrosphere, where the anthrosphere is that part of the environment made and managed by humans. The material is based upon a book by the author, Environmental Science and Technology: A Sustainable Approach to Green Science and Technology.
